Console Wars Explained
USA and Japan have both created many consoles throughout the years.
In 1994 Sony launched the first Playstation, and a few years later in 2001 Microsoft
launched the original Xbox.
The console war began in 2001 when Microsoft joined the competition.
Since then, Microsoft and Sony have been going back and forth trying to create the better console.
The companies keep going at it, but will there ever be a clear cut winner?
Well, that is up to the gaming commuity, and most people have a clear favorite and would never
abondon it for the other.
There are many things to consider when choosing what side your on, because Xbox and PlayStation
are very different and each have things that make them unique.
The controllers are different, the dashboard layouts are different, the look of the console is
different, and much more.

The console war has been going on for over two decades!
Over the years gaming has grown tremendously.
For many years single player games and local multiplayer was all there was.
Then online gaming became available, but only playstation owners could play games together
and only xbox owners could play together.
Now the gaming industry has battle royal games and cross-playable games.
These types of games now allow Playstation, Xbox, and PC players to play together
despite having different consoles.
Sony and Microsoft do work together to allow cross-play games, but the
console war still remains.
