It is highly recommended that students work through the test review sheets as each chapter is studied. It will help with learning the material and may reduce the amount of study time required for the major tests.

Just a quick reminder to be working on WSD13: Online Bookmarks which will be submitted the week of Test 3. Also, work on collecting materials and planning for your final project. If you wait until the end of the semester, it may be overwhelming.

Test 2 will be scheduled on in the Student Computer Center. http://www.occc.edu/IT/SCC.html.
Read the following carefully and thoroughly...
- A valid OCCC student ID is required. http://www.occc.edu/records/decals.html (Note: During the normal academic semseter, IDs cannot be obtained on Saturday or Sunday. At the time of this writing, the office is open until 8pm on Mondayand 6pm Tuesday-Thursday)
- Students must sign into the Student Computer Center at least two hours before closing and begin the coding test at least one hour prior to closing. The Computer Center does not stay open past closing time for students to complete tests.
- See the Assignments and Due Dates for testing times.
- The test will be done in the LMS. It is password protected.
- Referencing textbooks, using electronic devices such as cell phones, smart phones, iPod/iTouch, Nooks, Kindle, iPad or other tablets, electronic dictionaries, translators, calculators, etc., accessing other websites, visiting with others, or any other activities that could be consistent with cheating are not permitted during the test.
- The test will have two parts: theory and coding.
  - The theory will be multiple-choice/true-false which will primarily be taken from the optional study questions for each chapter.
  - The coding part can be a combination of short answer and writing code snippets.
- Upon completing the Theory portion, be sure to submit the test. Then request the SCC assistant type the password so the Coding test can be released. Again, be sure to submit the Coding Test when you have answered all of the questions.
- The Theory Test has a 1 hour time limit and the Coding test has a 1.5 hour time limit. Tests might not take that long, but this will help make sure there is ample time.
- The tests MUST be taken one after the other with no more than 10 minutes in between. Leaving after the Theory test and returning at a later time for the Coding test is not permitted. The LMS tracks the time. Failure to follow this requirement may result in point loss or the second test not being accepted for grading.
- A small note card will be allowed (see Test Review) during the test but no textbooks, online resources, or other aids. The note card must be submitted with the test and it will not be returned.
- Grading will be done after the final deadline. Students will receive an email once the grading has been completed.
- Late testing and retesting is not allowed.
